Let’s take an in depth look at a custom dental clinic we completed in Calgary, Alberta a while ago.

We worked with the doctor and his designer to create bespoke dental cabinetry with his trendy new office.  There were two main criteria – cabinetry must perform well and project must stay within a modest budget.

Custom Vessel Sinks

The doctor chose modern vessel sinks for the side cabinetry.  They end result was a designer cabinet that looks fantastic and provides a talking point in the operatory room! Sink specifications were sent to the Bow Wood project manager and used by our draftsman to create shop drawings of the custom cabinet with a dropped sink end so that the height of the sink remained at standard height.  The sinks were installed on site.

Colour Matched End Panels and Upholstery

Working with the doctor and the designer, we found matching laminate samples to the upholstery swatches in their colour scheme for the end panels of the side cabinets.  The main cabinet colour and countertop colour remained consistent throughout for a cohesive feel, but the bright cabinet ends added a splash of colour and interest to the dental cabinetry.  As well as looking great, the colour coded rooms made the office easy for patients to navigate and also for stocking supplies needed for certain procedures which take place in certain coloured rooms. You can send us your colour swatches for a free colour match.

Textured Aluminum Back Panels

To add interest to the rear support cabinets, the doctor chose a textured aluminum laminate for the back panels.  The subtle detail looks great and adds pizazz to the hallway.  We have thousands of colours, patterns and textures of laminate to choose from to customize your cabinets.
